Test Documentation
A comprehensive test plan is submitted to the customer for sign-off before the test execution. It will contain information on the resource requirements (hardware, environement software, test tools, personnel), features to be tested, test deliverables, test dependencies, prioritized test cases and test timeline.
Test Pass/Fail result reports, Observations made by the test engineers and Bug reports are submitted to the customer at the agreed upon frequency. Every bug discovered is documented with steps to recreate it. Several screen shots depicting how the bug was found make part of this documentation.
Project Coordinator maintains a Query Sheet to log important information related to technical and administrative queries pertaining to the project, and delivers Project Status Reports at regular intervals and in a format agreed upon by the customer. Project Coordinator and Senior Test Engineers of the Test team participate in tele and web conferences with the customers to resolve issues and to answer customer questions. Upon completion of the project, we deliver a Project Retrospective Report which details ways in which the project goals can be met in an even more efficient way.
