Functional Testing.

ZenQA specializes in testing new and regression functionality of software products through Alpha, Beta and FCR release phases. The general purpose of software functionality testing is to verify if the product performs as expected and documented. Implementing Risk based approach; we carefully review the functionality and end-user roles, plan the test coverage, develop Use case scenarios and test scripts to test all documented features in a prioritized manner. Such a test process results in the discovery of all Critical, High and Medium severity defects early on during the testing cycle, giving enough time for the developers to fix the defects, and for us to retest

We also concentrate on factors such as compatibility of the product with different hardware/software environments, usability, ease-of-navigation, and whether user inputs behave the way they are supposed to. Time permitting; we also carry out exploratory testing, in which ZenQA test engineers rely on their prior experience with same and other products to discover defects.

We assign dedicated teams to work on each project. With teams comprising Project Manager, Senior Test Engineers and Test Engineers working for every client, we ensure that complete attention is paid to every testing detail. Every defect discovered by the test engineer is verified by senior test engineer for correctness and reproducibility. We have established QA processes for every phase of testing starting from test planning, setup of test environments through reporting defects with screenshots and steps to reproduce.

We have experience testing Desktop and Multi-tier applications, Web services/applications/sites and ERP applications. Our test engineers have skills in various Web/App/SQL servers, C#/VB/C++/Java/J2EE/ASP.net/XML/PHP and test tools from HP, Rational, Compuware and Open source.
